MY WORLD Summer 2013

My last summer was my favorite one, I made a lot of things with my friends that I've never made before. The first thing I did when I finished school was traveled to Ibiza with my family and a friend. We slept one week on a boat, it was great. We visited Fomentera a lot of beautiful beaches from there and some nights we hang out.
Every day was diferent, we didn't waste our time. We went on boat to diferent beaches, we made trips, we went camping... A very nice and unforgettable summer.

PICTURE DESCRIPTION

This photo is an awsome natural landscape, in which you can see a rough sea at the right, green vegetation, high mountains in the left side, rocks in the middle of the sea and pink flowers.

I choose this picture because it makes me want to be there. It's a wild view of the coast. This beautiful photo transmits relax, chill, freshness...

Two weeks ago I was in Berlin with all my friends from school. I had a good time there, I laughed a lot with my friends, and we had many anecdotes to explain, but we walked a lot ... We visited a lot of things some of them bored and some very interesting like the bunker. Was my favourite because all the things that the guide explained to us were interesting. This bunker was created for a 3th world war, was a space vey dark, small and horrible. When I get in I had a feeling vey strange just imagine the situation of thousands of persons living there, spleeping in small beds, without enought eat... Was very shocking for me.

Talk about Mauthausen

Tuesday, two sons of catalan and republican men deported from Mauthausen came to talk about their story. It was so interesting, first of all they show us a documentary about Mauthausen, there were horrible and sad images from the people who lived there. One of them was waiting 5 years his father without knowing if he was alive or dead. They explained to us stories from people who tried to escape, how the people were treated or how they live without their fathers. What impressed me was the way they profited the cadavers, were used to make soap, tissues... It's incredible how a person could make that horrible things.

REFLECT ABOUT THE FILM

QUESTION 1. Setting.

• The first fight take place in the middle of the street and in the film it's in a gas station.
• When Tybalt kill Mercutio, in the book take place in the street and in the film on the beach.
• When Romeo and Juliet kiss each other in the book occur in the pool and in the film take place in the balcony. 
• In the movie all happened in a city in an actually period and in the book all happened in a village.

QUESTION 2. Imagery.

• Fire: represents the fight,  and dangerous moments, like the first fight in the petrol station.
• Water: represents the romatinc moments like when Romeo and Juliet meet for the first time through an aquarium or when they meet in Juliet's house then they fall in the pool and they kiss each other.
• Storm: represents the bad moments, like when Mercutio is killed by Tybalt.

QUESTION 3. Language.

Romeo and Juliet

Romeo and Juliet it's a story about love. Romeo and Juliet fall in love, but that love became imposible because their families hate each other. They fight for be together but they can't, to be together they had to make a plan. The plan goes wrong and they die together, the families decides to be in peace.

Valentine's day

My first task it's about make a cake. I make a cake related to st valentine's day.
And the second task I read about the history of Valentine's day, and it's interesting to know things about it.
For valentine's day a good present I think that it could be: chocolate, flowers... and something  more original like do a diferent activity. It's a great day for the couples, everybody must to seize the day!
