After 44 Years In Prison, This Is What Happens When A Man Sees Today's Technology

How would you see the world if you have missed all the technology of the last years? imagine that the last time you used a phone was by putting money into a machine... Well that's what happened to Johnson when, after 44 years in prison for the attempted murder of a police officer.

44 year old
Something very shocking fro him was walked into New York's Time Square and saw that all the walls were giant moving screens.
One day a man took him to travel to see the world of today and asked him to reflect on what he saw around him. The first thing he noticed was that everybody talks through their headphones when in the 70s the only people who had that kind of technology were the FBI or the CIA

44 years prison
If you want to see that shocking video, watch it here! http://interactive.aljazeera.com/aje/shorts/life-after-prison/index.html

Terrorist attacks

The terrible massacre last Friday in Paris I think that it's difficult to digest for any human. Firstly,  the death for yihadistes represents the sacrifice for his country, for his God, which does not justify the killing of so many people.
On the streets of Paris dominates the silence, the fear and the worse of all is this concern of not knowing how far it can go.
Regarding citizens I think that the authorities should take measures for total protection and vigilance especially in places of worship, which have more risk. I consider that security is something essential and not being able to walk in the streets safe is terrofífic.
In short, it's difficult to find a solution to these facts so inhuman, and maybe we should keep out but staying in alert seen that hate and revenge the only thing that brings is more blood of innocents.

What about future?

What I would like to do after "Batxillerat" is a gap year but before University that for me is better, you're more young and it's like a break season after "Batxillerat". We had studied gap year at school last year and I find it very interesting because you learn a new language, you meet new people and you become more independent. Some friends of my sister did a gap year and they have explained us how cool it is, some of them didn't want to come back! I think it's a different experience that you will not regret, at the beginning I'm sure that I would be scared of travel alone to an unknown place but it's get used. If I had to decide where to go I wouldn't know yet, but Australia or USA could be a possible options.

Pollution

As we all know pollution is an issue of great concern which we have all heard; However, I think we are still not sufficiently aware of their impact.
Firstly, the contamination involves us and it's bad for all of us, and that¡s why without pollution we would have a healthier life. It is dangerous for the environment and for human beings, and this factor is growing more and more when it should be the opposite, because now, more than ever, we know in depth the issue and its consequences. But the ozone layer continues to grow, temperatures continue to rise and climate change continues to accelerate.
Regarding our future, if we want it to be more promising, we should begin seriously to respect the measures established or find new solutions.
So as responsible of this situation we should reduce pollution respecting more recycling, investigating new forms of production by industries and helping with daily small actions each of us. In short, it's in our hands to change this situation.

MY FRIENDS

I have the craziest funniest friends in the world and I feel fortunate to have the friends that I have. They are an enormous support for me, we are always there for each other in good or bad moments and it's very nice to know that they will be there for you. With them is always a good time because we laugh a lot together. We usually go out together every weekend and some afternoons also we do many originals activities during the year and more now that summer approaches. Some of us have travelled together, we have made camping too... We do many follies!!! I love my group of friends because we know perfectly each other from many years ago and we have utmost confidence. Obviously we have discussions like everybody but don't last more than two days...

Artificial Intelligence Firm Claims It Can 'Resurrect The First Human In 30 Years'

human brain

It could sounds incrdible but an artificial intelligence company has said it can resurrect human beings in 30 years and their objective is to  "reinvent the afterlife."
Their website states: "We’re using artificial intelligence and nanotechnology to store data of conversational styles, behavioural patterns, thought processes and information about how your body functions from the inside-out."
After death they will freeze the brain using cryonics technology. When the technology is fully developed they will implant the brain into an artificial body. All this could be possible by brain waves and as the brain ages we’ll use nanotechnology to repair and improve cells
All the readers can think that it's a hoax because it's difficult to believe somehing like that but they say that the first human resurrected could be in 30 years.

Últimas tardes con Teresa

Last thursday we went to the theatre of Roses to see Últimas tardes con Teresa written by Juan Marse, a play that we read last year in class. The play was interpreted by only two persons Manolo and Teresa. At the beginning I believed it would be boring because it's difficult to adapt the play with only two characters but it was the opposite. It was played really well, was very entertaining and was understood perfectly. It lastest 55 minutes and what impressed me the most was the ability that they had to learn such a long paper by heart. The characters acted professionally, so was a really cool and fun trek. At the end they let us to ask questions and it was interesting because we could know many things from the point of view of the characters. They explained us the difficulty of adapting a book to the theatre and that's why they had to shorten many parts.

A very emotional film: The impossible

The impossible is a dramatic film based in real facts, it goes about the experience of a family in Thailand vacationing. There something horrible happens, a tsunami, and the movie narrets their history and their survival.
The impossible is not my favourite movie but I wanted to talk about it because It's a very impactant and moving film and I find amazing the filming and the true history of that family.

Extra Large Movie Poster Image for The Impossible
An enormous wave swept it all, the mother, wouonded and the older brother meet and looking for help while the father send the other borthers to a refuge for stay him (in the hotel) and looking for his wife and his older son. The father doesn't found them but him doesn't give up, he dicided to search in all the hospitals nearest.
Afortunatelly all the family meet in one of the hospitals where the mother is gonna be operated and the older son has helped many persons to find their families. Finally the afortunated family traveling on the way home in shock but safe.
My favourite part it's when the three brothers and the father found, it makes you cry and I was so moved on this part, just thinking about the lucky that they had to survive it's moving. The part that I don't like it's when the mother is in a critical condition in the hospital, I couldn't see my mum in that condition. I think this movie makes you appreciate much more the family.
The way that it's rolled the film catches my attention, I had seen documentaries about how they make the tsunami for example, all the actors were tied to chairs underwater and I think that it's something brave and so much work behind the scenes.

CITE: The $1 billion city that nobody calls home

The future city called CITE (Center for Innovation, Testing and Evaluation) project is a full-scale model of an ordinary American town. However it will be used as a petri dish to develop new technologies that will shape the future of the urban environment. This place is dedicated to ambitious experiments in fields such as transport, construction, communication and security, also for developing new forms of agriculture, energy, and water treatment.
This project thinks in driverless vehicles that could be used, monitored from above by traffic drones, homes could be designed to survive natural disasters and it search alternatives energy sources.

The CITE project will see future technologies developed in a $1 billion empty city in the New Mexico desert.

The new location for this project has been chosen and it will be constructed close to the White Sands missile range, where the first atomic bombs were tested. Builders will be on site this year, and the city could be operational as early as 2018.
The director describes CITE as a lab but we have to be conscious about investment in research that will be necessary.

Women

I'm proud oh how roles of women have changed our society in the last 100 years. The story is based on that times when women were despised, when they couldn't do many things as men could do. They weren't important in that society, they were toys for men. Nowadays fortunatelly all those horrible roles have partially changed. Mostly women are respect and with the same conditions as men. Of course these conditions every time are becoming better but not everywhere unfortunately. I hope in a future that women are considered totally the same as men and I'm very happy that our society has changed the way of thinking about women, even so still there many things to improve.

IS HUMOUR NECESSARY?

What would we do without humour? How could people bind more easily? or be more spontaneous and happy? and how could we dissolue distresing emotions?
Well, humour is necessary for all of them and that's waht I'm going to talk about.
Laughter apart from being a fantastic sensation and increasing happiness is good for your health! It relaxes your body, decreases stress hormones and protects your heart.
Also the humour attracts others to us and makes something very important for me, which is strengthing relationships and creating a positive bond when you laugh with someone.
So smile and laugh if you want to be happy. It will make you more positive and will help you to see all the situations from an optimistic point of view.
