human rights

Humans rights are moral principles which describe certain standards of human behavior and are regulary protected as legal rights. They are inherent in all human beings regardless of their nation, location, language, religion, ethnic origin or any other status. In other words, they are universal. They require empathy and the rule of law and impose an obligation on persons to respect the human rights of others.
One theory is that human rights were developed during the early Modern period but the ideas of rights and liberty have existed in some form for much of human history. Many of the basic ideas that animated the human rights movement developed in the aftermath of the Second Wrold War and the atrocities of The holocaust.
The division of Human Rights is based in three genrations conceived at first time by Karel Vasak in 1979 and those are:

  • Rights of first generation: They are civil and political rights , linked to the principle of freedom.
  • Rights of second generation: They are economic, social and cultural rights , which are linked with the principle of equality.
  • Rights of third genartion: It is linked with solidarity
