Slavery levels in UK 'higher than thought'


There could be between 10,000 and 13,000 victims of slavery in the UK.

This concept includes women forced into prostitution, "imprisoned" domestic staff and workers in fields, factories and fishing boats. The most prevalent countries of people trafficked are Albania, Nigeria, Vietnam and Romania. Some countries are taking measures to protect people who are trafficke into the countries and held against their will, like the British embassy develop local initiatives abroad.. It's a hidden crime and we have to find the perpetrators and we haven't make people acknowledge it's wrong because everybody knows it's wrong.
