DESCRIPTION
I am who I am thanks to most important person in my life, my mum. My mum is middle-aged and she's medium height. She has short brown hair and unlike me very straight. Her eyes are also brown and her nose is small. One of my favourite things things is her mouth, she has a perfect theeth and she looks beautiful when she smiles. About her personality she's very intelligent, friendly and outgoing but I have always admired her for being the hardest working woman I know. She has struggled for me and my sisters alone without any help and I will always be grateful, that's why I hope I become half the woman she is someda. I'm very proud of her and definetly she's my heroine.

FINAL REFLECTION
I had compared my first oral presentation with the last one and I have noticed differences and progress. In my first oral presentation I look very nervous that it's normal but I'm like a bit lost and was like a regurgitation of facts. However in the last oral presentation I spoke more fluently and more relaxed, maybe because the last one was my research project and it's a topic to which I have devoted much time and I mastered, but was easier for me. Also I noticed a more extensive vocabulary in the last oral presentation and greater comfort. Once compared it's satisfactory see how eventually you get on in an oral presentation and the vocabulary you have learned. So for me, my best presentation was the last one, about my great grandfather, the only inconvenient it's the pronunciation that I haven't notticed an improvement, I think it will improve when I have to speak english coercible.

My18!!!!!!!
Yestarday was my birthday, a very special birthday because I did the expected 18 and I think I'll always remember that day. It was not as I expected, I got sick and that gave anger beacuse I don't usually get ill and casually happens on my birthday. I woke up perfectly and excited but in class I started to feel ache in my tummy so I had to go home... In fact I spent the whole afternoon in bed and at night I had my party. I had a great time with all my friends but I couldn't enjoy it as I would have liked. Even so I'm very thankful to my friends, they did a video for me with which I began to cry! and I will share it with all of you :)
Now I strat a new stage of my life. I propose to be more responsable and independent, can't wait to see what awaits me this year!!! I'm sure it will be unforgettable.

"Hunger still has not healed because it is not contagious"
I chose this article because I consider it a serious global issue that we should consider to kill it.
http://elpais.com/elpais/2014/10/16/planeta_futuro/1413479684_284062.html
The text talks about the hunger that spend more than 800 million people worldwide. The author is totally opposed to the idea that a country spends an awful lot of money on military spending, while an awful lot of people die from hunger.
The fact that the planet produces more than you need, let us clear the global injustice idea, and the author affirms that many reasons are perverse. The rising price at the moment that humble farmers can afford food and start living better, is a clear example of this argument given.
The author cites a message from Kennedy which says that we can end this scar, but not solidarity but by intelligent selfishness, since the negative consequences as possible diseases affect rich countries.

Rape and murder of Dalit woman highlights persistence of caste, gender-based violence
http://www.amnestyusa.org/news/press-releases/rape-and-murder-of-dalit-woman-highlights-persistence-of-caste-gender-based-violence
Authorities in the south Indian state of Kerala must ensure an investigation into allegations of police inaction in a case involving the rape and murder of a 30 year old Dalit woman in Vattolippadi, Kerala. On 28 April, the law student was found dead at home by her mother. Media reports said that she had 38 wounds on the woman’s body and signs of rape. Also her intestines had been removed. Three men have been detained and the Kerala government will give 100,000 INR as compensation to the family. There the police don't act in front of violence against women and that's frustrating. The victim’s sister said, “We have complained earlier against certain individuals who used to threaten us, but the police did not take any action.” It has been found that two years ago her sister complains that his neighbour had been harassing and threatening the family and faced with this situation the police did nothing. Finally “Dalit women face multiple levels of discrimination- from the community and often from the police. The Kerala government must hold the police accountable for any inaction on their part,” said Rekha Raj.
